These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of DentalHIPAA ("Service"), operated by DentalHIPAA ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

DentalHIPAA provides HIPAA compliance tracking software for solo dental practices, including: a HIPAA compliance checklist, Business Associate Agreement (BAA) tracker, Security Risk Assessment wizard, staff training tracker, and compliance score dashboard.
You must be a licensed dental professional or authorized representative of a dental practice to use this Service. You must be at least 18 years old. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet these requirements.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@dentalhipaa.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

DentalHIPAA is a software tool designed to help you organize and track your HIPAA compliance activities. Use of DentalHIPAA does not guarantee compliance with HIPAA or any other law or regulation. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice. We strongly recommend consulting a qualified HIPAA compliance attorney or consultant for legal guidance specific to your practice.
You retain ownership of all data you enter into DentalHIPAA. We do not claim ownership over your compliance records, BAA data, or uploaded documents. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.
DentalHIPAA, including its software, design, and content, is our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DentalHIPAA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to HIPAA fines, penalties, or audit findings. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your specific compliance requirements.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may cancel your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the United States.
